Do doctors receive letter from Health Department or CDC on COVID-19?

I'd like to know how the system works to encourage doctors to send in the specimen of a suspected patient.
In light of the Corona virus, I'd like to know if each licensed medical doctor in the US received any letter from either CDC or local Health Department with instruction on how to send the specimen from a suspected COVID-19 patient.

Medical doctors in the US have received communications from local/state health departments. Here is one such example:

Hello~As the above poster has stated, communications have been sent.

I know this is a very scary illness, but try not to worry too much. I would start taking immune strengthening herbs and vitamins such as Echinacea, bee propolis,  Vitamin C, D, A and a multi-mineral complex. This may not prevent one from contracting the disease, but it may help to keep it from getting a good stronghold of the patient.
