Feeling of something stuck in throat

Hi i have been having the feeling of having something stuck in my throat for about a week now. It does not hinder my ability to eat or drink. However the feeling comes and goes, and at times i would feel breathlessness and wanting to vomit as it feels choking. Is my condition serious? This happened approximately 2days after i recovered from throat inflammation.

@senseanonymous no i do not smoke. I did some searching online and the results all pointing to me having GERD. I would feel that some of the food not going down the throat and it stays around, causing it to be uncomfortable. Is there also the possibilty that this might be due to allergic reaction to the throat inflammation meds that i took 1 week before. Thanks in advance

Not smoking  does reduce the risks to something serious drastically. However, it is important to get yourself checked from the inside, through tests like endoscopy to diagnose any issues if present that are hindering you from living your life in the joyous manner. I cannot say anything except it is possible for the anti-inflammatory medicines to cause an interaction. However, I would suggest to nip the evil in the bud and get yourself checked at a proper medical facility. Moreover, you should avoid sour and spicy food in the meantime.

You really need an in-person examination by an ENT. There is the possibility that this is very serious.  There is always the chance of a growth impinging on the tissues.

Or did you ever? If yes, For how long? It is important to get examined by an ENT specialist. It can be allergy. Or something that happens when you have the habit of drinking or eating things when they are hot, like coffee and tea. However, getting directly examined along with may be a blood test, will remove any anxiety about risks.
