Folliculitis after MRSA infection

I had a MRSA infection two months ago and was treated by a dermatologist and infectious disease doctor. The major symptoms went away like the boil I got, however I still get mild folliculitis on my face (one or two infected hairs). I've been applying topical clindamycin twice a day and cleaning my sheets and towels regularly but I still get some folliculitis. Is this normal and will it go away eventually?

I used manuka honey on my dog's version of MRSA and it cleared it up in 1-2 weeks

Hello~I would ask your doctor, it seems like it should but maybe you might need a stronger cream to help get rid of it.
