Those symptoms can be caused by GERD, but, other things can cause it as well. I am glad you had tests run, however, if you are not happy with the doctors answers, another opinion is always an option. A lot of times, anxiety syndrome can cause your symptoms as well.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that vasovagal syncope although could be triggered off by GERD, making you to pass out, there are also lots of other reasons for passing out, dehydration being another reason.

You can find lots more information and triggers with regard to vasovagal syncope and fainting on the web.  There are numerous triggers, to much for me to write them all down here.

Your ortho has mentioned that scoliosis won't cause you dizzy spells.
You mention that you have "3.weakness in the left arm" and this may be due to the scoliosis, especially if this is in the thoracic part of your spine.
Weakness and arm problems can be referred from the spine.

Your symptoms:
1.pressure below the sternum
2.bloating
are, as you will know, due to the GERD.
As well as taking the medications that have been prescribed for you for GERD, you should also avoid fried and highly spiced foods and any other foods or drinks that trigger this off.  I find eating small portions and not over indulging on alcoholic drinks, not eating or drinking before bedtime also helps.  For this, it is also a good idea to keep a food and drinks diary and avoid any foods that set the GERD off or make it worse.

Any anxiety issues will also make GERD problems much worse.

Stomach problems and food poisoning can cause dizziness, but as I mentioned in my previous post, there are also other health issues that can cause dizziness too and those also need to be looked into to find out if they can be causing your dizziness or not.

Because you mention "4.ear pressure; 6.dizziness head pressure sometimes imbalance" - These symptoms can also be from infections in the inner ear.  Having a sinus problem and a head cold can also cause these symptoms.

With regard to your point "7.brain fog ,losing yourself ,t memory problems, FORGETFULNESS"  - These symptoms can be due to being dehydrated, lack of sleep, low Vitamin B12 and also sometimes from having a urinary infection.  Some people may also feel a discomfort when urinating, but not always.  A urine dip stick test would show if you had a problem with regard to that.

The points that you raise with regard to:
"5.feeling that i am going to die
7.brain fog ,losing yourself ,t memory problems, FORGETFULNESS
8.extreme anxiety, feels like im going pass out"

Are all related to anxiety, stress and depression and possible panic attacks.

The only symptoms that I have experienced with GERD was regurgitation of food whilst sleeping, nausea, pain below the sternum and severe chest pains that were so severe that the paramedics suspected a heart attack.

I manage my GERD by eating small amounts of food and by avoiding fried and highly spiced foods and keeping my alcohol consumption to a minimum.

You have been prescribed with medication for your GERD, but you also need to have a good, healthy and well balanced diet with plenty of fluids and especially water.  2 litres is usually recommended, more if you sweat a lot for whatever reason.  Keep a food diary of everything that you eat and drink so that you can find out which foods and drinks trigger off your GERD or make it worse so that you can avoid them.  Never eat or drink anything before going to bed, because that will make your GERD worse, especially if you lie down.

For your anxiety and stress issues, breathing and relaxation techniques will help with this as well as light exercise, especially walking in the fresh air.   Although a psychiatrist will be able to help with regard to the depression, a counsellor will be able to help you to learn skills with regard to managing your stress and anxiety issues.

Stress and anxiety can also trigger off GERD.

Hope you get sorted out very soon so that you can enjoy the rest of your life.

God bless and PO.

my doctor told me that the category of my symptoms are not neuro related.
later he said as for assurance ,he referred me to their neuro doctor.then after it if my results is negative he suggest that maybe the psychiatrist will be the one to explain my symptoms.

i never been knocked down on a basketball game before .ENT doctor told me that if dizziness starts when im having bloating and distended stomach then it must be gerd my gastro doctor told me  that it hapens on their patients with gerd, he called it vasovagal syncope or vasovagal response of the body, i visit the ortho doctor last time and he told that my scoliosis wont are not related to my dizzy spell. some of my doctors told me that i need to my manage my anxiety because they told me that all my results are negative and all them them referred me to psychiatrist.my blood pressure is fine 110/80 90/70 120/80 are my last readings. last time ive been rushed to the ER because of my dizzy spells i remember i drink gatorade before ,then last year i drink orange juice the next thing i am experiencing dizziness imabalnce and confusion all doctors rule out that i have no heart problems my BP is 160/100 that time they told me to calm down then after 20 minutes it becomes 120/90 the down 110/70

i don't what is happening to my body all  i know it happens when  i start having GERD

Although anxiety and stress can give you the symptoms of dizziness as too can stomach problems, there are other reasons for feeling dizzy too.

Blood pressure that is too high or too low can cause dizziness, urinary tract infections, ear infections, having problems with your neck.

As you are also experiencing weakness in the arm and heart problems have been ruled out, I would suggest that you should get imaging tests done (xray) on your neck.  Arm pain and/or weakness can be referred from the cervical area of your spine.  You may benefit from seeing a chiropractor, osteopath or a physiotherapist.

As basketball is a physical game and you will, know doubt, have been knocked about and may be fell down a few times, it is highly likely that there may be an issue with your spine and especially the bones in your neck.  Problems in this area can cause balance problems and can cause postural hypertension.

A psychiatrist will help with regard to depression, but will not help to resolve any problems that may be related to your spine.

If you have not had your cervical bones (the bones in the neck) checked out, I suggest that this would be a good idea to get done.  Sometimes the bones can get out of alignment that can cause some of the symptoms that you mention.

Hope you get sorted out soon.
Let me know how you get on.
Best wishes.

Precisely why you get get it looked into and accept treatment if it's offered.  It may take a few weeks for the long acting medications to take effect, and the short acting meds can cause symptoms of dizziness and fatigue, or even the reverse sometimes,..but those are typically not long lasting once your body adjusts to having them.  I do so hope that you can once again play the sport of your choice, but realize that sometimes our health issues won't allow this to happen.  Best of luck!

I think you have two things occurring here.  First you have the GERD, and second, because of the GERD and your belief that it isn't, I do believe you are having anxiety because of it.   Anxiety can create heart attack like symptoms, dizziness, forgetfulness and brain fogginess.  The GERD can create the chest discomfort and pressure under/below sternum bloating, burping, burning, etc.  Please don't be afraid or skeptical about anxiety, it happens to many people.  Sometimes it's brought on by stressful situations and the expectation to do well at something (like basketball) and sometimes there is no identifiable trigger.  Typically some MDs will prescribe long acting anti-anxiety medications like Paxil, Prozac, Celexa, Lexapro, etc...and also give you some fast acting anti-anxiety meds like Ativan or Xanax or Valium.  However, given that you have been told to see a psychiatrist for this by two MDs, you really should do so.  Why suffer when there is treatment?
