HIV Infection

Recently for the last 1 month I am suffering from tonsil problem. It has been remain swollen for the last 1 month. The doctor suggested it to be dust allergy and tonsillitis which is a result of that. First when it started I had mild fever, green cough, sore throat and headache. Then in 3 days it subsided and a mild irritation remained. Previously two days ago dry cough started again along with headache and fever (up to 102 F) and for the last 2-3 days i was feeling drowsy and tired as well as had white coating on my tongue and blisters on the back of my tongue. Apart from tonsil i have no gland swollen and have no other symptom like the weight loss or rashes. I had unprotected sex with my girl friend 6 months ago who has multiple piercing (from piercing guns) but no other sexual relationship. She has developed psoriasis in the last 2 years. Can I be infected by HIV?

I think there is very low chance of acute HIV in your case. incubation period of half a year  is too long.
in any case, you can check your HIV status now because after half a year results will be very accurate

an enlarged tonsil reqires evaluation by ENT physician
the most probable diagnosis in your case is two simple upper respiratory infection that occured in the same month, which is not rare.
