Hard Lump by a tooth

I have a hard lump on the outside of my teeth on the right hand side of my mouth between the teeth and the gum.  There is no pain.  Should I go to the dentist.  I had my teeth checked a few months ago and it was not there then.

It sounds like you could have an abcess or possibly a cyst.
It is definatley worth getting it checked out by the Dentist as if it is an abcess it could become very painful in time if not treated with antibiotics.

Look up "tori". They are harmless growths that are typically left alone unless they become bothersome. It's an idea of what it could be.
