It can be many things from fibroids to cervical cysts ...talk to ur doctor and get this checked..I actually had tubes tied and it took almost a year for periods to regulate..mine were coming every 12-18 days and it was due to hormones, extreme stress, eating changes, exercising etc..now that i'm regulated with my health my periods have regulated as well..if pain persists in a local area//ovarian area it could be cysts
Hi there, I am 34 & had my tubes tide almost 2 years ago after having 3 daughters. My period started acting up last year when my periods started changing cycles, one month it was in the beg. then toward the end I never missed a month but I sometimes had 2 periods in one month. It wasn't until Jan 11 that I really noticed the changes & I though it was because I had my tubes tide. I saw my GYN in Mar 11 after 2 months of having heavy periods with clots, very painful, weak, sore, cramps, lasting about 10 days or so. To me it was all due to me having my tubal ligation. However, my GYN disagreed with me, he told me that it had nothing to do with having my tubes tide. That it was possible that my periods were changing because my body was use to being on birth control and now that I wasn't my body was reacting to not being on the hormones. He put me on a medication called Lysteda to help with the symptoms. However, it turns out that because I have history of endometriosis, it had come back & in June he had to do a hysteroscopy because he thought I might have pre-cancer cells. Long story. Anyway, your periods changing have nothing to do with your tubal ligation, it can be related to issues you may be having & you should consult with your GYN. I have read a lot about endometriosis in the last 5 months & all the articles I have come acroos say that if your periods start changing with your type symptoms go see your GYN. I am not a Dr. & in no means saying you may have Endo, am just telling you my experience & what I have read. When periods change is a sign something is going on in your body & we as women need to listen to our bodies & take action. Consult with your GYN asap. Hopefully is not biggy, but you don't want to take any chances it's your health! Good luck & take Care! Hopefully my story helps. :)
Anything like this should be looked into by your OB/GYN. If your periods have become irregular, it is worth getting it checked into.
