How long before I can stop worrying about inhaled poison ivy smoke?

I burned some cut brush 4 days ago with poison ivy in it. I have no rash as of yet on skin but I do have a sore throat and some slight chest congestion. I’m worried about my lungs and want to know how long before I’m out of danger of a serious reaction.

Ugh. The good news is that not everyone reacts to poison ivy.  I don't.  I've had it one time in my life and been exposed many times.  The general time frame is 4 to 10 hours after exposure. Hope you are alright and have not had a reaction.

Thanks, I read that it could take several days for the reaction to happen when oil is touched but I haven’t been able to find any information on inhaled poison ivy reaction time. I hope I’m out of the worry zone.

The best thing in my opinion to do is to probably go to the doctor if this is still happening, as breathing in ivy is a very bad thing to do.
