Huge Hematoma lump on my groin area?

On Saturday 8/20 I was floating the river in an tube, and came across some rapids. The tube flipped over and I fell down the rapids without my tube or any protection. When I got to the bottom of the rapids I could feel a terrible pain about and inch or so above my genitals, but I climbed back into the tube and floated the rest of the way.

When I got back to the condo I had a huge bruise where a rock had slammed into my groin area, but the bruise wasn't raised and it was about the size of a dollar bill folded in half. The next day I checked again and I had a bump there about the size of a cherry tomato and now my penis and the surrounding area was also purple and swollen. But the swelling in my penis and surrounding area went away, and the only bruise and lump was where the original impact was.

Then Thursday 8/25 my wife and I engaged in some "nighttime activities" and after I had the worst burning pain in that same spot. I got up and went to the bathroom to check, and the cherry tomato sized bump turned into a lump the size of an orange. The pain was unbearable and the size of the bump was scary enough we decided to immediately go to the ER.

$400 later, I was sent home with an ice pack and a prescription for pain killers. It is now Saturday 8/27 and the size hasn't gone down since Thursday. If anything it's now tomato instead of orange sized. Is there anything I can do to make this lump go away sooner? And could it be anything else besides hematoma? Thanks!
