What causes scalp to hurt when touched?
Thanks so much for the response to my question about hurt scalp. It turns out is was the reaction to the antibiotic - so now cannot take anymore of that ever! It was actually the second reaction after a rash.
Yes, what SassyLassie said. This is what I get, as migraines are the culprit. The doctor told me that it's also a form of neuralgia. Make sure to keep all your hair styles loose, so you're not using hair styles that pull on that part of the scalp, as that will only aggravate the problem.

Usually, it is due to nerve endings in your head, sometimes certain migranes can cause it as well.
