I have a soft lump on the back of my neck near hairline should I ve concerned?

Over the past 3 weeks I have noticed a small hard pea sized lump to the back of my neck left sides in hairline turn into a soft tender to the touch area about 1 and 1/2 inches. I have also had headaches daily for the same time frame. My vision has been gradually become more blurry should I be concerned that this is something serious cannot get in with my Primary M.D. until after new year

Hello~While you are waiting to see your doctor, I highly recommend seeing a chiropractor. Your symptoms suggest misplaced vertebrae in your neck, he/she will take some x-rays, these will show where the problem lies, a few treatments should get you on the road to recovery.
