Inguinal hernia

So I had a inguinal hernia repair about 2weeks ago on my left side and everything has been going good I hope I’m just a really worried person on account that I try not to do much ... I go as far as asking my wife if she thinks I messed up but I have no pain just kind of pressure which is normal I’m just more worried that I lift my laptop case with my pc inside I don’t think it’s any more then 10lbs I hope not to sure how to weight but I lift the dang pc while laying down with my left arm now I’m so dam worried I messed up up my right side mesh which is I hope impossible I could really use some advice here I feel normal I just feel like I may had damaged my self but there is no pain or anything down there just a bit of discomfort where I got the repair just that I’m a cautious person please help :(

Well, It is hard for anyone to say.  Lifting that first week after surgery is usually really restricted to help aid recovery and impede complications.  While my gut says 10 pounds or under should be okay for a brief minute lifting of a laptop . . .  I'm not an expert.  I do think so anyway.  If you continue to have pain, then call your doctor without delay.  And follow your physician's instructions from now on to a T. good luck and be well soon

The 1st week I had lift a chair and my doc told me no lifting but check me and said I was fine this time around I just set the laptop beside me next to my bed it was more of a moving it from my side to the floor I guess that’s why I consider it a lift but still considering it was still a tad heavy I’mworried
It’s been 2 weeks from my surgery and I just picked the laptop today and yesterday
Well, I read that it's nothing more than 20 pounds 2 weeks out past surgery and that is really not going to be 20 pounds.  I think you are fine.  Just try to not worry (because then you hyper focus and you'll feel every twinge) and give it a day to see if it is fine, okay?  I really think it is.
