Itchy Rash

I have a small rash on my leg that itches quite frequently through the day and night. I thought maybe it was due to dry skin and have been trying to use lotion but isnt helping. It hasnt spread but it also hasnt gone away. Its been a couple of weeks now.

How big is small?  Lyme Disease usually starts with a rash and it isn't always a bulls eye shape. Definitely take a picture of it and go see a doctor.  Then, if it's gone when you get there, you can show him/her the picture.  You definitely don't want Lyme Disease to go untreated.  Believe me from personal experience, it's a nightmare.

If the rash is still there after a couple weeks it might need more than lotion and be more than just dry skin. Sometimes an infection can cause a rash, recently I had to get a prescription antifungal/ steroid to get rid of a rash. If this isn't acting normally I suggest having a dr look at it.
