Itchy eyelid

While laying in bed I noticed a small bump on my cornerlower eyelid that was painful. (very tiny tiny bump) next morning woke up to crusty eyelashes, white part of eye slightly swollen, and pinkish color eye and swollen upper eyelid. Went to eye dr he wasn't sure what the issue is, informed wasnt pink eye nor a stye, but prescribed maxitrol to use twice a day. Third day using maxitrol and redness is gone however swelling of upper eyelid still present, nothing horrible, and the little bump is still itching like MAD. I have cats and she has had an eye infection recently, I am allergic to fruit but have been sneaking grapes lately about two or three a day, it's in the right eye only, I'm verrrry clean and do my pillowcase every other day. There was nothing in my eye but eye seen small ulcers in my lower eyelid. Help! (also the dr said I had blepharitis but he wasn't sure, it's like he was guessing) also I do wear acuvu 2 contacts always and had to wear a temporary kind until my next appointment. My white part swelled up went to eye dr and he said I had an alleric reaction to something and gave me lotamax, it went away but now this is happening.

Try the eye care forum. It sounds like an allergy but I'm not sure.

sounds like something I've had before Dr. had me use HOT the hotter the better  cloths and just hold it on your eye.  could be just a stye or Pink eye.
see a doctors.  He'll give you some sulfur drops that will burn but also more than likely clear it up in a few days.  I would stay away from people just in case it is Pink Eye, spreads real easy....
