We have been taking ADHD and anti-depressant Meds for years & the only ones I remember having a negative impact were Laxapro, Inderal & Ambien. My husband was on Lexapro and I could not get through to him while he was taking it. He became impervious to all input and it took months to convince him there was even a problem. I have known others, though, who took it with no problem.

I started in July 25 mg Zoloft and then went up to 150mg.  Went to doc yesterday and doc told  me to switch to lexapro bc he thinks it will work better. But now I'm worried it will make me dizzy and now I'm worried that I was suppose to wean off Zoloft. But I don't think he told me to do that.

Hi I just read your plea for understanding of anti-depressants. I can only speak for me, In starting and coming off 'of old meds and going on new ones. First of all I have been on meds for 14 long years.. I do know what works for my brain, and what does not.. which means I know if I have to increase, decrease, or come off of a med. So with that can I ask how long have you been on Med's?
