Left Side Chest Pain.

I'm having Left Side Chest Pain Continuously For 4 Days. Not Heart related(ECG report ok). It Increases If I Turn Left And Goes Away Almost 95% If I Turn Right.I Had Lung Infection 2 Months Ago (Treated). Breathing Does Not Effect It.But it pains quite a lot.I Had cold the day before it started.doctor said some muscle or rib growth may be causing the pain. He gave me painkillers. But my pain did not go away a bit.I had them just once today.but about half an hour ago i took a pill for cold(montelucast).now my pain is almost gone.
Can anyone give me any idea what actually going on and what i should do?

Your general practitioner is far more qualified to answer this question than we are here. It seems he gave you a diagnosis, so that should be your foremost thought. Try not to be too anxious about it. (I know that's easier said than done.)

What we do know is that the chest pain that you describe can be caused by any number of things. If you had a cold, it could be congestion. If you had heartburn, it could be acid reflux. If the pain is relieved by movement, it could be anything from muscles to peptic conditions and gas. And, the list of possible causes is probably a mile long.

If the pain persists, I would return to the practitioner.
