Left knee pain while sitting

Hi,
I am 40 years old.

Basically, it's like this...the longer I sit, the more it (my left knee) hurts. If I stand after sitting a long time, I just can't take it, and have to walk around for a couple minutes.
After I walk around for a couple minutes, it feels
absolutely fine. I feel as if nothing is wrong.

And if I walk around all day I'm completely fine(No Pain). I can go up
and down stairs just fine.... it's just the sitting ... if I sit too
long, that's what kills me.

Please advise.

Thanks

Sounds like a tendon or muscle that goes over the knee and is being stretched when you sit down.  Could be a tendon coming down  from the lower back and being  pulled at that point   where it joins the knee bone.

You need to see a Osteopath or a Physiotherapist and they will be able to give you the relief you seek.
