Lower abdo pain...not appendicitis or ovarian problem

Hello. I woke up 2 mornings ago with bad lower abdo pain on my right side. I went to out of hours dr at night and they sent me to hosp. No sign of appendicitis. They found an ovarian cyst but not on the side that is sore. Dr said it is random pain...still have the pain tonight. Any ideas what it could be. I have no other symptoms. Should i go to gp? Thanks

Glad you ha it checked out but sorry you still have the pain.  Appendicitis is the first thing you think of and I've had an ovarian cyst and they are painful as well but you say it's on the other side.  Hm.  Does make you wonder, right?  Other things associated with right sided abdominal pain are kidney infections/ UTI's (you'd have other symptoms unless it is just starting), any issues with constipation? (even when we have regular bm's, we can be constipated a bit, you've never been diagnosed with endometriosis have you?, hernia?, If it continues say for another 5 days into next week, then I would see your general practitioner or if it worsens.  Let us know an update!!
