is this common for dengue? or is it something else?

7 weeks ago my friend experienced a high fever, aching muscle joints, and a massive headache. she went to the doctor and the doctor said that it's an infection or some sort, at first, the doctor was sure that it's dengue fever (because it's very common in my country during rainy season), prescripted her to fix the headache and fever, and have her wait for 3 days for a complete blood test, after the test, the results shows a normal thrombocyte count but a low leukocyte, the doctor is confused and told her to consume iron supplement, and wait for another 2 days to see if the thrombocyte would decrease (because it's the most defining symptoms of dengue). after 2 days the leukocyte count is increasing thanks to the supplement and the thrombocyte is indeed slightly decreased at 120.000 (ps: in my opinion it's kinda normal) and the doctor said it is indeed a dengue fever and gave her some prescription and she feels better after a few days. but she noticed that now she can't eat as much (easily full), feel a bit nauseous afterwards and can't stand to be in a crowd because she would feel nauseous, but she feels normal otherwise. what could possibly be the problem? i'm quite curious myself.. please help! thanks!
