Lymph nodes, swollen breasts

Im a 20 year old female, a couple years back I experienced a lump in my breast, i went to the doctors, had it checked out, and was told it was "binyne" I dont know, they told me it was just fatty tissue, about a year later the lump gets bigger and starts to hurt every now and then. Got it checked out, same thing, some antibiotic and watching caffiene intake was all i could really do, I've ran out of my insurance, and now this is about 2 and a half years later my breast and armpits are swollen, I do have some health issues. I just can't take this anymore, i feel im too young.

Have you had a mammogram? Even though you don't have insurance you can go to the hospital and they have to treat you! With that said go get it checked NOW!!

It could be fibrocystic breast disease, which is benign.  I have treated this in the past with evening primrose oil from the healthfood store.  Mastitis would be an infection, but usually this happens to nursing mothers.  You would need antibiotics if it was that.  The area would feel hot though.

Hi giselle91, I fully understand what you are going through. I developed the same condition and doctors could not explain what it was. I was recently diagnosed with lyme disease and a co infection called bartonella. My doc says it is likely the bartonella causing the swollen glands around the breast and armpit area. I have been on antibiotics for bartonella and it has helped tremendously. What other symptoms do you have? It is likely you are suffering with an infection that is difficult to detect through blood work. You can message me if you would like more info.
