Mucus in stool, black stools, eggy burps

Hi, Last year I had a dodgy KFC and had really bad eggy burps. After a week I went to my doctor and described what seemed to be worms. He gave me some medication for this and all seemed to be fine.
Then a few weeks later I started getting black sticky stools, followed by eggy burps - took imodium and 2 days later i had what seemed to be worms again.
I dont understand how this can be myself and my family are very clean people and no-one else has suffered from the same symptoms.

So, I SOMETIMES get black sticky stools, SOMETIMES followed by eggy burps but the mucus seems to be a regular thing now. I have had more stress in my life over the last 2months.
Also sometimse my stools are more like cow pats but then go to the ''normal'' poos straight after. I very rarely suffer from stomach cramps and have no weight loss. Ive been to my doc who has given me some tablets to see if they work for stomach imflamation and ive also requested a colonoscopy to rule out cancer as this is the thing that is scaring me the most. I am only 25 and the doc says this is very rare in people my age and if i had it he'd expect me to be quite ill by now.

I just wondered if anyone else has had the same symptoms or knows what the likely cause can be?

You might need to get your stool tested. I recommend telling your family doctor about this to make sure it is nothing serious. These symptoms could lead to a serious disease.
