My doctor gave me citalopram, but I don't know if it's what I need.

But I don't know if it's what I need. You can track my symptoms from my other questions, but here's a summary: I always feel spaced out/out of it/not myself/surreal, I'm not really hungry, even though my stomach is, inconsistent bowel movements, and sometimes stomach area feels weird or something, sometimes I have difficulty breathing and heart palpitations, I can't go to sleep before like 11am/12pm usually, because I can't fall asleep, so I then sleep all day, and it's been increasing to like 10-12 hours, and then I always feel tired or fatigued. I sometimes my eyes hurt or I have headaches. I'm dehydrated, but I've been drinking some water. Irritability too. Sometimes I fluctuate from warm to cold (forgot to mention this) and my feet are cold alot (forgot this too). I have some anxiety and OCD, but I doubt it's that. I have noise sensitivity too sometime. And dizzy/head pressure. Apparently I tested clean for thyroid problems, Lyme, etc. I don't know though.
Feel free to share some advice or information. Thank you.

You have been examined by your doctor, he knows that you have that chesty bone thing (I have forgotten what it is called) and that may be contributing to the tightness and breathing difficulty.  We discussed earlier that your doctor is the best person to help you with regard whether you need an operation should it be the cause of your breathing problem.

Most of what you describe is typical depression.  Yes, citalopram and any other antidepressant can dampen down sexual libido and performance.

It also does not help you drinking the vodka or any other alcohol.  Any type of alcohol will make your depression much worse.  It may give you a temporary well feeling, but then you will feel worse again.

Smoking the drugs is also not a very wise thing to do.  I do not know much about those drugs that you take, but do know that they can be or are addictive.

Do you really want to feel well again?  If so, you need to follow the advice of your doctor and the good advice that you have been given on the forums that you have posted on.  And also listen to the good advice your mother is giving you.

Well, let me give a brief update on what's happening.  Days ago, I was drinking vodka and smoking cigarettes, the next morning I had a slight hangover, and ever since that day it feels like I'm not necessarily getting enough air into my lungs, like my heart or lungs have a brief grinding sensation, uncomfortable but not painful, I've been stuffed up a bit but not 100% consistent, and today my ears sound weird, like they are plugged up, but not, and sensitive, feels more plugged with my right ear, but they both sound weird.  I'm having interesting dreams regarding people I know and weird scenarios, but that's due to the medication I'm assuming.

I haven't been eating alot, and I'm hungry now, want thanksgiving leftovers, but I'm lazy (sleeping for like 10-15 hours, give or take sometimes).

I feel like I'm lightheaded, spaced out (but more weirdly), having a sick feeling in my chest and body.

When I started the medication, I've started yawning, like I said before, and feeling a weird, strong sensation afterward, like I can't breathe properly afterward, maybe it's nausea, but it goes away after a few seconds.

My girlfriend and I had sex twice on thanksgiving night-friday morning, and I couldn't "finish" both times.  The first time I put it on me being tired, because I had a few beers, some wine, a couple of cigarettes, and shared a marijuana joint with someone, so I blamed my inability to do so on that.  The next morning, I blamed it on the pills, and that I was feeling hot (she was too, even with the fan on), and it felt uncomfortable with my heart racing and pounding, so I said that was also a reason why, and the fact that I only had 4 hours of sleep, which is true.  I have read lots of things about Citalopram, and SSRI's in general, causing sexual dysfunction problems.

What else is new or persisting?  Hmm.

Head pressure, eyes look weird looking around, brain fog, feeling weak sometimes, and other times stronger, moments where it feels I need to breathe more deeply or something.

I don't want to go to the E.R. unless I really, really need to.  I'm scared of the ambulance, the rooms, and I just don't like it.  It's a lot of work, and it confirms that there is something with me.  I do mention how I'm feeling to my mother sometimes, and she says that I need to move more and all of that.

Anyway, this is an update to how I'm doing.  Mostly in bed, sleeping, and having these symptoms.  I'm going to go make myself get something to eat.

Hope you reply back soon.

And I hope that you've been having fun and been doing good.

The Emergency Room at the hospital is for emergencies.

A lot of the time the Emergency Room is full of people who have a problem that is not an emergency and abuse the services of the Emergency Room.

Some conditions are clearly an emergency and need immediate attention.  A health problem that is persisting is not classed as an emergency, but still would require medical attention all be it sometimes an urgent appointment with your own doctor.  If in doubt, a phone call to the paramedics to assess whether the condition is an emergency is helpful.  In the UK we have an out of hours doctors available that can give advice whether the condition is such that warrants an urgent hospital ER visit.

The onset of severe pain, chest pains with breathing difficulties is classed as an emergency.  More information can, no doubt be found, on the web with regard to the problems that would require urgent ER attention.

In my doctors surgery, they have put up a large poster giving people information with regard to what needs urgent ER attention and what conditions can be dealt with the pharmacist or the doctor.

A urinary tract infection would not warrant an ER visit.  But a urinary tract infection that got worse with severe pain, high temperature, passing of blood and not being able to pass urine with the belly size increasing would be termed as an extremely urgent case for an immediate ER visit.

Difficulty with breathing with or without chest pain is always an emergency. Just to give you a couple of examples.

Hello. How are you? I read everything you wrote and I am going to be perfectly honest with you. You, yourself said that you are always feeling "spaced out" or similar. Well.......after reading what you were writing, with all due respect, you doo sound "spaced out" and it could be a serious medical problem. I am only trying to be up front with you. With everything else you wrote, also, you seem to have a lot of problems. If I were you.........I would be getting on the telephone, immediately, and calling "911" and have an ambulance take you to the hospital to the Emergency Room. To me, you sound quite ill. Honestly. I am not trying to frighten you......I am trying to help you. Maybe you DO have "Lyme Disease!" Many times that is passed over and it does cause a myriad of serious problems....serious confusion being one of them! So.........get on that phone, dial 911 and have them take you to a good hospital where they should find out what is wrong! Obviously, SOMETHING is wrong! Do you have relatives at all? If so, have them involved, also!!  Take care and please let us know what ends up happening. You will be taken care of, but get yourself some help!      Sue

If you have Vick in your country, that is a good one to get.
Olbas oil, menthol, mint oil.  If you are not sure, ask your pharmacist to give you advice.   You will need to do the steam inhalations for as long as you need to.  Some stubborn sinus problems can take a few days to completely shift.

You do seem to have symptoms of depression and taking an antidepressant willy nilly is not going to help at all.

Whatever strength of the medication you take needs to be taken more or less at the same time every day and it can take weeks or up to a couple of months before you may begin to start to feel better.  If the dose is too low, you may not feel any benefit at all.

Take the medication as prescribed to you by your doctor.  If you do have a problem with the antidepressant that the doctor has prescribed for you and the dose that has been prescribed for you to take, you should make an appointment to see your doctor and discuss your concerns with him.

Thanks for the advice.  I plan on trying the steam.  What exactly kind of oil should I get?

Also, is it normal to few head pressure, out of it/dazed, things are a bit blurry but not too blurry, just weird, to feel a bit reckless, to not care as much as I used to about things, emotionless or less emotional, while taking this medication?  Even though I haven't taken it in a few days, and I only take half a dose?  I started again today, and I took a full dose too.  So hopefully things work out better.  Thanks again.

It is understandable with feeling ill for a long time to feel so down as to think that your "time may be up soon".

With regard to your throbby head and feeling of fullness in your ear with the dry lips (your breathing may be connected with this), is highly likely that you may have an ear infection as well as a head cold.  (At the moment I am the same).

Make an appointment to see your doctor to examine your ear and lungs.  The doctor will then be able to see if you do have an infection that requires medicating.  The head problem with the ears, lungs and stuffy nose, sounds very much too that you have either a sinus issue or a what is called a "head cold".

Do steam inhalations to clear your breathing and sinus passages.  This will also help to relieve any blocked up nose and blocked up Eustachian tube.
The "weird" sensations when touching your face, may also be due to sinus problems.

To do a steam inhalation, pour a kettleful of boiling water into a bowl (taking care not to get scalded).  Put in some Vick or olbas oil into the hot water and bend your head over the bowl.  Cover your head and the bowl with a towel and breathe in the steam for about 10 minutes.  Do this for a duration of 10 minutes and 4 times a day.  If you can't manage doing it 4 times, do is as much as you can.

When the body is fighting an infection or there are issues that unresolved that cause anxiety and stress, this can disrupt proper sleeping times.  With any infection, you will be wanting to sleep a lot.  Depression too can make you sleep more.

Although learning about your health problems is fine, you need to put things into perspective.  Because you are searching on the web and coming across signs of "death", I suggest that you do NOT search the web any more.  We are all going to die at some point, but none of us know when this will happen so we have to make the most of the time that we have.   These types of thoughts are also signs of depression and "hypochondria".

As you are having dreams of smoking and your mother, it is likely that deep down something is bothering you about your mother.  May be she has told you to do something that you do not agree with her.    Or you are in your subconscious not happy about something that she has done.  You need to do what is right for you.

If you are asking the question about SSRI's with regard to you being on Citalopram - I have been on that medication and it did work for me.  Once I was able to deal with my problems I stopped taking it and I am managing fine (so far).  Do remember that being on any antidepressant will take a few weeks for you to feel any benefit from the medication.  Sometimes if one antidepressant is not working for you after a few months of being on it, your doctor may consider increasing the dose or changing the antidepressant to a different type.  There are lots of different antidepressants and what suits someone, may not necessarily suit you.

You are doing well in trying to avoid going back to sleep in the day time, but at the same time if you have a bacterial infection, you may just need to listen to your body and have that sleep.  Any infections will make you feel tired as well as depression.

If you don't want to go to sleep, and to help you to stay awake, do something (wash the dishes, vacuum, go for a walk, have a bath, listen to music, read a book, etc).  Anything that stops your mind dwelling on you feeling unwell will also help you to stop worrying about things.

I suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor to examine your ears, lungs and whether in fact you have a sinus infection.

Hope my suggestions help.

And it's 11:40 am now.
I appreciate the advice about the stool movements, but what is really scaring me is the sleeping.  I practically, almost, slept for 23 hours.  It's a scary thought.  I feel so out of it, my right ear is clogged, and my throat/lips feel dryish.  I can't really explain how weird and out of it I feel.  Nothing like I've experienced before.  Even my vision is weird.  I had a dream that I was going to smoke in front of my mother (which I never do), and that in my dreams. I felt weird and felt like I wasn't going to be alive for much longer or something, and I'm kind of thinking that now because of how I feel.  It's also like sleeping did nothing to me because I still feel exhausted, but I really do not want to sleep anymore because I've been sleeping wayyy too much.  I've read online that signs of you dying is being dehydrated, increased sleeping, decreased stool movements, etc.  Sometimes it sounds like I'm having labored breathing, but I think that's because of a side of my nose being clogged.
But honestly, this is freaking me out, and it doesn't even feel like a side effect, but there's a chance that it is.  I'm going to try getting out of bed and maybe stepping outside (Minnesota weather, so don't want to be out too long).  Anyway, I hope I'm going to be alive in the next few days (maybe it's the hypochondriac in me talking, I don't know).

What are your experience with SSRI's (if any)?  My head feels like I can't really concentrate, thobby, a fog, but also really cluttered, etc.  Feels weird touching myself on the face, like I'm not me.  It's nothing like being stoned either.  I never thought that my symptoms could be this worse.  I know they have to to get better, but oh my god, I just want to be healthy.  This is scary and makes makes feel crazy.  I'm even considering having coffee, but that won't do anything.  Really don't want to go back to sleep, but I might have to.  This is crazy.  Any advice on this?  Sorry for bothering you.  But thanks for all of your help.  Thanks.

Thank you.

If you are experiencing problems and straining to when you want to empty your bowels, you do need to eat roughage foods (which I talked about previously) and drink plenty of water as well as get moving - walking is fine.

If you do that and are still having a problem, you can purchase from the pharmacy and some supermarkets, laxatives or stool softeners to help you to empty your bowels properly.

Because you have been having problems and are on medication for depression - sometimes medications can cause constipation (hardening of the stools making it difficult to empty the bowels), I suggest you make an appointment to see your doctor to make sure that it is simply constipation.

The doctor can prescribe stool softening gels that you mix with water and drink and there are also other products and laxatives.  You doctor will decide which to prescribe for you or give you other advice.

Try not to strain too much when you go.  This can cause haemorrhoids (piles) which can be external or internal and they can become painful, itchy and sometimes bleed.  You could cause a rupture in the anal canal called a fissure and this too can cause pain and bleed and then takes time to heal.

You can also purchase (or your doctor can prescribe them for you), glycerine suppositories.  You dampen one and insert it into your anus and try and hold it in there for as long as you can.  This will lubricate the anal canal and allow the stools to come out with ease.

Long term use of laxatives is not a good idea.

Hope this helps you.

Best wishes.

My stool movements haven't been the best either, but maybe it's because that I'm not eating alot (and not much to eat. And not being hungry, etc. But we got some more food). And I've been having stomaches and uncomfortable movements without much results.

Anyway, I hope that you're doing good.  Have a nice day.

Here's a brief update on what's going on now.
I keep missing some doses, but atleast I'm taking them.
I have a 20mg dose but I'm only taking half of it right now.
I've had my friend and girlfriend over the last few days, so I've been being more social.  I've also smoked a bit of marijuana, which really didn't have a negative impact on me as far as I know except that my left lung/chest area felt kind of bruised or something when I'd move a certain way, but that's gone
Recently, I've been falling asleep at like 3-5 am, but I'd awake a few hours later (3-4 hours) and won't be able to go back to sleep, and then would sleep for the rest of the day almost later on.  I've also had a decrease in appetite (and not really having much food I want to eat), but I know that I'm hungry and haven't been eating a lot. Also, my lips were dry a few days ago, it went away, and now they are again.

What else?  Hmm.
Yesterday I fell asleep at around 2 am I believe, then was woke up by my cat (also did my friend and girlfriend), at around 6 am and it kept meowing until like 7 am, but even after that I couldn't fall back to sleep.  And I was exhausted. I fell back to sleep at around 2:40 pm, woke up at about 7 or 9 pm, I think, but I'm not sure but If I did, I fell back asleep, woke up at around 11:15 pm, was awake for about ten minutes, fell asleep again until like 4:15-20 am. And it's now 4:40 am and I feel really out of it, tired, and not feeling the best.  Headache, eye ache, I look around and things look weird, feels like I'm not getting enough air, and Ive been yawning alot recently, and sometimes it continues to make me feel nauseous while I do so.

Anyway, this is just an update on what's going on.  Kind of scary and doesn't even feel like they are side-effects but sometimes else.  Anyway, I hope you read this and reply back.  Thank you.

I've been waking earlier, but not the earliest.  Around 6-8.  But last night I didn't sleep until around 5 am and awoke 4 hours later at like 9, and couldn't fall back asleep.  I was supposed to be awake at 11 because my girlfriend was coming over (she didn't though) and around 7:30 pm (I thought it was 3-4 pm until I checked my messages for confirmation), I went back to sleep after walking to the store earlier, eating snacks and relaxing, and didn't awake until 10:10 and went back to sleep until 11:57, and these are both PM.  Way too long, and I'm tired right now (12:16 am).  I didn't take my half dose because I was waiting until like 8 like yesterday, but I don't know.  This was way too much sleeping, haha.  But I'm going to awake earlier tomorrow.

Take the medication as prescribed by your doctor.  If you take it a few hours before your bedtime at night, they will help you to relax and sleep better.

Your doctor has prescribed that dosage for a reason and it will take some weeks for you to start to notice any improvement.  If not, then you would need to see the doctor again to adjust the dosage.

Staying in bed too long will make you feel worse, give you a headache and make you feel "spaced out".  So try and force yourself up, get washed and dressed and have breakfast.  If you still feel "zapped" after that, go for a walk in the fresh air.  If you still feel you feel weary after your walk, then have a short nap.  The more you sleep in the day, this will disrupt your sleeping patters and it will be harder for you to sleep properly later on.

I believe that he's tested for it, but I'm not completely positive.  Thanks once more for the useful information.  It seems like I can't sleep before those times.  I've started the medication yesterday, at around 6:10.  I have a 20mg dose but took half of it to start with.  I couldn't fall asleep until around 3:16 pm the next day -_-pm and slept until, like, 9:45-50 pm.  I was too lazy and I didn't want to go get my medication when I kept awaking a few times at around 6 (when I set my alarm), and around 8 or 8 maybe, I don't know.  When I went to sleep, I was having eye socket pain, and tired, which is normal I'm guessing but I don't know.  I awoke with a headache, feeling exhausted (normal considering the circumstances), and a bit of eye pain, and, like always, a spaced out, lightheadedness, brain fog feeling.  So I'm trying to settle down, take things calm, eat a bit, try sleeping earlier, and starting the medicine again tomorrow.

Are you writing the times when you go to sleep correctly?

am      means the times from 12 midnight until 12 noon.
pm      means after 12 noon, day time and up until midnight.

So if you are going to bed at 10am (that is a morning) and getting up at 5pm (in the evening) your patterns of sleep are no good.

You should try and go to bed at 10pm (night time) and get up about 8-9am (morning).

The hours that you say you sleep is find for people who work at night times and do shift work.

Having sneezes and a stuffy nose can be from allergies as well as from a cold coming on.  Steam inhalations will help to unblock any stuffy noses.
To do a steam inhalation pour a kettleful of boiling water into a bowl (taking care not to get scalded).  Put in some Vick or Olbas oil or any menthol oil drops into the boiling water.  Bend your head over the bowl and cover your head and bowl with a towel.  Breathe in the steam through your nose and out through your mouth.  Do this for a duration of 10 minutes.  If your congestion gets bad, you should try and to this 4 times a day.  But any amount is better than none.

If you have an allergy, antihistamines may help as well as not using any feather pillows.

If your body has not had sufficient sleep, then it can make you yawn.  Another reason for yawning is to get more oxygen into your lungs and if you do have anaemia you may also feel "air hunger".  If your doctor has not done any blood tests to check your iron levels, then perhaps you should consider getting that done as well as a lung function test using a peak flow monitor.

If you are anaemic (low iron levels in the blood), you need to eat a healthy and balanced diet with iron fortified cereals (most cereals contain iron), cooked spinach, liver, kidneys are full of iron.  You will find more info on the web with regard to foods that contain iron.   Only take iron supplements if the doctor prescribes them for you as taking iron supplements when you do not need them can cause problems.

I have not been coughing or anything similar.  I so sneeze at times, and my nose does seem clogged at times.
I went to sleep at 10 am today in an attempt to awake at 5 pm.  I had some weird dreams and whatnot.  I also kept going back to sleep until around 8:30 pm, then went back to sleep and it was around 10:15 when I awoke.  I was exhausted, and I feel exhausted now, at 10:55 pm.  Feels like I'm not getting enough air at times too.  I'm yawning, spaced out, etc.
Hopefully I can sleep better tonight and awake at 5 pm, so I can finally Starr my citalopham.

Having difficulty breathing can be from a lung disorder like asthma and other causes, but also from anxiety and stress.  You can do breathing exercises to strengthen your lungs if there is no infection.  There is information on the web with regard to this.  But here is a simple one:  breathe through your nose to fill up your lungs, hold for a count of 4 and then expel the air slowly through your mouth.  Do this a few times each day.

If your blood tests showed your haemoglobin level is fine, then you can rule out that out.  People who have anaemia (low iron levels) will experience gasping for breath.

If you still continue to have the breathing difficulty, even when you are relaxed, get back to your doctor to get a chest xray done and a lung function (the doctor can do a lung function in his office, you just breathe into a simple device called a "peak flow monitor").  It may be that your restricted breathing problem could be because of your pectus excavatum depending on the severity of this.  If this is so, ask the doctor to send you for imaging tests (xrays or whatever) so find out if the pectus excavatum is restricting your lungs.

Do you have any congestion and/or a cough?  If so, doing steam inhalations will help to clear the tubes.  Having a cold or an ear infection can also cause dizzy turns as well as having blood pressure that is too high.   But as your doctor has examined you, he obviously ruled out any bacterial infections and hypertension (high blood pressure).  Antibiotics are only prescribed for bacterial infections.

Because you have had a bad sleep routine for quite some time now by the sounds of things, plus the fact that it appears that you do have depression, then it will take time to get back to feeling better again.

Unfortunately there is no magic pill that will make you healthy and well.  You need to look after yourself and your body.

He didn't use a lung test.  He just listened to my breathing, which could be a more difficult than normal people because of my pectus excavatum.  I do appreciate your advice regarding this.  I couldn't sleep until about 2:15 pm today and didn't awake until around 10 pm.  Now I feel out of it, a sick feeling, and irritated.  I'm just worried that it's an infection or something else, you know?

The scenery was beautiful.  It rained all week with some dry spells in between and I had a restful but very painful week.  Thanks for asking.
You can see some of the scenery in my profile pictures that were taken last year of some of the area (Scottish Highlands).

If the palpitations continue, ask your doctor to send you to get an ECG done.  Sometimes that does not show anything, but at least it gives you peace of mind.

It appears that the doctor did not hear any problems with your heart or lungs.  Did he do a lung function test as well and tell you anything about this?  If he did not hear anything abnormal, that is probably why he came to the decision that it is anxiety and depression related.  Depression can give you lots of symptoms as well as make any underlying health problems much worse.

Depression can make you sleep lots and to  lose interest in things as well as neglect your personal hygiene.

Don't forget that antidepressants can take a few weeks before you start to feel any benefit, so start taking them as directed straight away.  They can make you feel sleepy and should your sleepiness get worse during the day, under your doctor's advice, take the medication in the evening a few hours before going to bed.

Do establish a good bed time routine pattern.  If you feel sleepy in the day, go out for a walk in the fresh air, phone a friend.  You may not feel like it, but it does help.  Sometimes I know, you just have to lie down and get some sleep.  Trouble is when you wake up, you feel just as bad if not worse until your body starts moving again.  Try and make yourself to have a relaxing bath in the evening to help you unwind and get into bed say at 10-11pm.  If you spend a lot of time on the computer and get hooked on games and watching movies, the time can go so quickly and before you know it, it is the early hours of the morning.  If this is you, try and break that pattern.  Once you establish a good sleeping routine (and this can take some time), you will find you may not need to sleep in the day anymore.

Finding something that gives you a purpose like a new exciting hobby will also give you  motivation.

If you do not eat enough roughage foods, fruit and vegetables, but  eat junk foods, your bowel movements will be all over the place.  Try and have a healthy and well balanced diet.  Wheetabix and Shredded Wheat are good fibre cereals that contain no sugar.  Natural set yogurt with fresh fruit and a Wheetabix (if you like) is a good healthy breakfast.  Use wholemeal and seeded bread instead of white bread.  Soups that contain lots of veg and barley and lentils are also a good choice.

To have good regular bowel movements, not only do you need to eat roughage foods, but also you need to drink plenty of fluids (not alcohol).    2 litres (about 4 pints) a day is what is usually recommended, more if you sweat a lot and workout.   Water is a the best choice.   Going for regular walks every day or exercising will also help to stimulate bowel movements.

Yes, I have mentioned palpitations to my doctor and he asked questions and listened to my breathing.
For the past two days, I've been falling asleep at 12 pm-2pm and have been sleeping all day, so I keep missing opportunities to take the citalopham.
I did awake around a half hour ago, and I feel out it and have a spaced out, fatigued sickish feeling throughout my body m. Hopefully I can start the citalopham tomorrow and that it works.

Anyway, how was your trip?

Citalopram is an antidepressant.

Your doctor will have assessed you and will have come to the decision that you are suffering from depression.

It can take a few weeks for an antidepressant to kick in and for you to start to feel any benefit.

No doubt your doctor will have told you to see him again after so many weeks to see how you are getting on with the dosage and whether the dosage needs to be adjusted to suit you.  Sometimes one group of antidepressants does not suit and/or does not help sufficiently, the doctor would then consider whether a different type should be prescribed.

Only you can that stop yourself from being dehydrated.  If you are severely dehydrated, then the doctor would have sent you to the hospital.  You should drink at least 2 litres of water in the day and more if you are sweating a lot or working out, fruit juices, soups, but NO alcohol.  Alcohol dehydrates the body.   Spread out the amount of fluid during the day and don't drink it all in one go.  Coffee is a diuretic which means it excretes fluids from the body.  So if you do drink a lot of caffeinated drinks, reduce the amount of these drinks.  If you are hooked on coffee and caffeinated drinks, you may experience some withdrawal symptoms when you reduce the quantity, but this will subside.

If you are able to get any appropriate counselling, that would be a good idea to have and your doctor should be able to refer you to an appropriate counsellor.

As you experience anxiety, relaxation techniques will help you with this.

Did you mention your palpitations to your doctor?  If not, then you should.  This should be examined to make sure you do not have any heart problems.  A doctor would listen to your heart and send you for an ECG.

With regards to your eating habits, I have left you information with regard to that in your previous post before.  Whether you feel hungry or not eat something little and often so that you get the nutrients, minerals and vitamins that your body needs to keep healthy.   The brain needs energy as well as your body and if you are not eating properly then your brain is not getting the energy it requires to function properly and this could be one of the reasons why you start to feel dizzy and start to feel hungry, but not hungry.
