Mystery Lymph Node

Hi! I have noticed an enlarged lymph node behind one of my ears. It was non tender, until a few days back. I noticed that it was tender and the pain was radiating to my jaw and my inner ear. A dull type of a pain. Nothing that kept me up at night or req me to take pain killers. My doc told me to monitor it for a week to see if it enlarges and if the pain persists...and old me no to touch it. I have had my widom teeth removed and i have no dental infections. I havn't had a cold in awhile now, and i usually don't catch the flu or cold so quick. Just wandering why the one enlarged lymph node behind my left ear?

It sounds like you have an ear infection. Did you actually see your Dr, or did you just call him?   Remar

Well, i had that too, and on both of my ears. I just noticed one day, and that it hurted, sometimes i have like 2 in each ear and they are tender. i talke dto my docotr and he told me that i probably had an infection of some sort, and that is why it happened, or that since i have bruxism ( grinding of the teeth and clenching of the jaw) it could be amd effect of that. well i hope it helps you in some way!
