Painful, Bleeding, Red Bumps on my Tongue

I have these red bumps on my tongue that look like inflamed taste buds. They are painful, mostly when I eat spicy or acidic foods. Also, some of them bleed when I brush my tongue, it is also very painful to brush my tongue. Why is this?

Hi..it could be a yeast infection or a viral infection. Or perhaps canker sores. Try gargling with Salt water...maybe they will heal. It can be painful. If they persist, I would have it checked out. Best wishes.

Sounds like an allergy or something. Take a antihistamine for now see if it helps, but go to your doctor still and get yourself looked at.

I suggest seeing your doctor to get diagnosed! Are you diabetic? It also could be a vitamin deficiency, medication or even an allergic reaction. Best to see your doctor
