Scar from Blood Donation Won't Go Away
Had blood drawn in early May. Couldn't find vein. Phlebotomist tried several times. She finally said "that's going to leave a bruise". 3 months later still have 1 in long red/purple thin 'bruise' seems like outline of vein left were she attempted to draw blood. Tried everything for it (vitamins, compresses, arnica). Did see doctor but she said just put warm compresses on it - does nothing. WHAT CAN I DO?

Hello~I am not sure that is anything you can do but wait. I am sorry you had such a bad experience, the phlebotomist, after two tries, should have gotten another tech to help, that is how it is usually done.
