Please help me- nurse said it may be ringworm, no idea

I was removing my underwear before a shower. I saw this small, white thing tangled up in the hair. I noticed at the same time there was a sort of pimple looking thing (which I removed- only blood came out). I put it under my mom's microscope (mom is a certified nurse), and I got this: http://m.imgur.com/a/toHMa
Notice the red end of it opposite of the head. My belief is that it was preying on my skin, myself actually finding out today. My mom is suggesting this may be a ringworm- common in gyms and pools (I also work out and swim a lot). She's also suggested washing everything I have. Help?

Ringworm is not a worm. It is a fungal infection. I am not sure what that critter is. The picture is too small to tell for sure, but that appears to be some kind of larvae. Keep an eye on the area where the bump was and maybe wash it off with alcohol. Also, Google for images of what a ringworm infection looks like. Some antifungal cream is about the best treatment for ringworm.

Hello~I would definitely wash everything that you have worn, plus, I would see your doctor for some meds to keep you from getting infected or having a reoccurrence.

Sure thing- what do you think that is in the picture though?
