Possible Lung issue

There were huge forest firesthese days in about 4 hrs from where a really sad situation. For a day there was white small ash falling from the sky and even in our home since there were open windows. Is there any damage to our health since obviously it was airborne?

Hello~Since the fire was over 4 hours drive from you, I doubt if you have anything to worry about, but just to be safe, keep track on how you are feeling, if you notice any trouble breathing, pain in chest or lungs, then see your GP.

Sorry to hear about the fire!  That's traumatic and upsetting.  Is your house cleaned?  Smoke can do such damage and long lasting damage at that.  So, you know the biggest health risk from a fire is actually a cardiac event.  The particulates in the air put a strain on the cardiovascular system.  https://www.healthline.com/health-news/how-forest-fires-can-endanger-your-health-from-miles-and-miles-away#4  But obviously your lungs and those of your family's are also at risk.  If you or they develop any symptoms of COPD or asthma, I'd get to the doctor as soon as possible.  https://www.lung.org/about-us/blog/2016/01/how-wildfires-affect-health.html
