Puncture Wound in friend's hand.. lost mobility

Ok so today at work my friend (works at a doggie daycare) tried to break up a fight between two dogs, which then lead to one of the dogs biting/getting their tooth stuck in her hand, it pierced through to the bone and burst a blood vessel. She was bleeding everywhere.  She also began to lose her hearing and sight (i assume because of the blood loss maybe?) and a little bit later she got up from sitting to get some water and started losing her hearing and almost lost consciousness. Now, a couple hours later, she is completely unable to move her hand. She wants to visit the hospital first thing in the morning, she has various worse medical issues she's been to the hospital for and she is concerned about adding to the pile of medical bills she's still trying to pay off after years.  I live across the country from her, and she ***** at typing right now for obvious reasons, but I just want to know why this is happening to her, just reasons and answers so that maybe we could learn more about what's happening to her hand.  She's 20, has fibromyalgia and degenerative disk disease if that is any helpful information at all.

Hello~

It seems like a couple of things could have happened.

First, the bite could have hit a nerve, this would cause the pain when trying to move the hand.

Second, the bite could have caused her extra anxiety, the sudden action of the bite can startle a person, this is turn  can cause anxiety, not to mention the stress of trying to break up a fight. The anxiety could be causing some of the issues you mentioned.

Having Fibro and degenerative discs does not help either, the immune system is not as strong as it is in folks that do not have these issues, so, again, these symptoms can come into play.
