Reoccurring nausea and dizziness that lasts all day for days at a time?

My husband is stubborn and won't go to the doctor, I have been trying to make some sense of what is going on with him and eventually will probably have to drag him to our PCP. He has days when he feels very nauseous and dizzy and generally pretty lethargic. The symptoms last all day and sometimes for a few days at a time. They'll go away and then it will happen again in a week or so. This has been going on for months now. Does anyone have any suggestions to help with nausea that I can get him to try until I am able to force him to be seen?
