Should all my bones ache?

When it’s goes cold all my joints ache they have done for as long as I remember. A while back I feel and hit my knee and couldn’t straighten it or put pressure on it for 5/10 minutes however it stopped then just felt bruised. Yesterday it turned cold again and after work my leg started throbbing and hurt to put weight on it (all my other joints ached as well). I’m 18 should this be happening?

Researchers aren't sure why cold weather can cause joint pain but one theory, based on a small study, is that inflamed joints swell as barometric pressure drops and
the swelling irritates the nerves around the joints, causing pain.

You could try a warm bath with magnesium flakes to help with the pain. Also maybe apply arnica or capsaicin cream to your sore joints. Also considering taking omega 3 supplements to help reduce inflammation and avoid inflammatory oils high in omega 6 (soy, sunflower, corn, cottonseed, safflower, vegetable oils).

I'd see a doctor as 18 year olds don't often have this type of issue throughout all joints.  good luck to the poster.

Hi.  No, that's not normal.  Are you coming down with the flu?  Talk to your parents about a physical or get one yourself if you handle your own health care now.
