Side Effects
This medication had caused severe swelling of my mom's feet, she was told not to stop taking it. Is this normal?

I would definitely have her see her physician about this; this does not sound like a normal reaction, and why, for heavens sake, if she is having these side effects, should she stay on it.
I believe some blood pressure medications cause that. However, if it is keeping her from doing things and exercising, maybe they could try a different one and it wouldn't be so severe.
