Sleep Apnoea

My son is 14yrs old and suffers with some sort of sleep disorder.  When he was very young, we were told he had sleep apnoea.  Dairy was immediately removed from his diet - to be replaced with goat milk.  Now, at 14yrs of age, when observing his sleep, he will stop breathing for a couple of seconds and upon giving him a little shove, will regain breathing.  He will also (whilst exhaling) sound like he's forcing his air through a small pipe (sort of like a choking sound) - once again, when I give him a little shove, he will exhale normally.

Sounds like sleep apea ,ask your doctor what he thinks , he could be allergic to some food .also make sure he lays on his side not his back, he could place a pillow in his back to wedge him there.Hope you get to the bottom of it I think you will, let us know how he gets on.
