what type could it be and how serious?

Called into drs said i have a lump in my stomach and am bleeding from somewhere. I'm 41, black and have to wait for an ultrasound and I think a pelvic test. My Dad not long ago 2 years had his prostate taken out and my Mum had a check was fine. I've already had Fibroids. still a little uncertain what this means good or bad. Thoughts please.

Hello! If you are having internal bleeding does your doctor know the source of the blood? Are you passing blood in your stool? Also could you be more specific about the lump in your stomach. Is it in your abdomen or pelvis? If you are being referred for a pelvic ultrasound it would seem to be they are looking for the source of pelvic pain and vaginal bleeding? Given a history of fibroids, it could be that. If you could be a little more specific, I would be happy to respond. Be well.

Hi, Thank you. No blood in my stool. Dr said he felt to be very hard and am getting  sharp and dull pain, in the middle .  Although I thought it was my left side also. I had my Fibroid taken out in 2012. I was  called back yesterday as a little anaemic and had to do another blood test and will find out tomorrow afternoon.  ultra sound and pelvic test next week.
I just heard him say cancer. My mum had a test for bowel cancer but had the all clear.  I'm hoping it's just to check but then again why am I bleeding.  Then you have to wait which is it what I don't like. Ha-ha
