Slightly raised skin area (about the size of a half dollar) on breast tissue?

Negative diagnostic 3D mammogram and negative left breast ultrasound.
Saw a breast specialist and she felt benign finding, may never know what caused it.  Likely some type of irritation or trauma.  She recommended watching it and applying hydrocortisone cream for a few weeks.  The inflammation has improved but there now appears to be a hyper pigmented area where the swelling was.  Still using the hydrocortisone cream for another week or so.  I know I shouldn't be worried at this point, but I still am.  I have an appointment with dermatology next week.  Any thoughts?

I had something like this. It was a red, raised skin patch.  I was really worried about it.  I actually used aquafor on it.  It did clear up in 3 to 4 weeks with that. Mine was skin related.  So, a dermatologist is a good move to see next if it remains!

Thanks specialmom, I have a feeling mine is skin related too, but just wish it would clear completely.  I tend to wonder if it was caused by an irritation to perfume.  In the summer months I tend to squirt my perfume down my shirt as well, haha.  I'm thinking it might have irritated that spot.  I never had any real redness per say, it was just a raised area about the size of a half dollar, and now that the swelling is down there appears to be a hyperpigmented area where it was, but maybe that will just fade over time.  I guess I'll see what the dermatologist says!  Thanks again!
