Smelly cut oozing greenish

I have a cut that's about 3 inches long and an inch and a half deep and about an inch wide, it is now oozing a whitish green pus, and it smells bad and is really itchy and achy.  I don't see the dr until next week any home remedies to help with this?  I have been soaking in salt water and bactine as well as spreading triple biotic polisporin on it...  I also have notices little red bumps all around it cut?!?!

If you can't go to the doctor sooner, do what was already suggested and go in to the ER.  Don't risk your health by waiting.

I have lanced the area and nothing really came out.  I can't move up my appointment and I cannot just go to any dr as my wound is self inflicted and it is not the only one.  I have special bandages so that it stays clean and I am keeping it cleaned and have special ointment that I have been putting on it.  Thank you all for the advice unfortunately I cannot go to drs any sooner:(

It's obviously infected. It is very important to get that professionally lanced and to drain the infection. Reason why it is so important, is that the greenish fluid could go through your bloodstream and into your heart and you will subsequently die. When this is happening you will see what they call 'streaking'. You will see red lines from the injury going through the body. They will lance the area, drain the pus, and then prescribe you antibiotics.

Please make sure you seek professional help. Let us know what happens

definately do not wait. if u cannot bump up ur appointment then u need to go to an er, especially if running a fever. i have been an intentional cutter on and off for thirteen years. its not something to put off. u may need stitches and it definately sounds like antibiotics. i wouldnt use home remedies. keep it clean with antibacterial soap and apply double or triple if u have it antibiotic ointment to it with a clean q tip and do not touch the cut with your hands. good luck
