Strange sensation in the head(temples) and eyes

Hi, for the past week I've been having this odd sensation in my head and eyes, and I'm not sure what could be the problem.
Firstly about a week ago I noticed that when I moved my eyes to the left I had a sort of ache behind the eyes. It's was not really pain but more discomfort.
Then a couple of days later I noticed that I had a similar feeling in my temple area.
I'm not having vision problems but I do feel as if I just need to close my eyes constantly, as when I do this the sensation stops.
What I did find as well is that when I'm exercising or when I just wake up everything feels fine.
This might sound off but I just feel the need to blink the a lot of the time as it sound of alleviates any discomforts that I'm having.
I'm really not sure what is the problem.

Please can anyone help me out with any suggestions as to what could be the problem

I would see an eye doctor and if they say you are fine then maybe see a neurologist to see if you have migraines? Is it on one side of the head? There is a eye section on here that has a very good eye doctor just go to the eye forum and he might be able to direct you. But it may be something else. One of the doctors may want a CT or MRI. I don't know for sure. How is your blood pressure and blood sugar? If those are off you might have this problem. Like too high of blood pressure or too high or low of blood sugar. Maybe get a metabolic panel that includes a potassium, chloride , CO2 and Maybe also a Kidney check (BUN and Creatinine). Have you had a check up?
