Strep throat with burning on tongue

I am a 21 year old male. I have been diagnosed with strep throat two weeks ago after rapid test. Symptoms were mild no fever and I had mostly stomach problems rather then throat but a huge swollen node under my jaw which hasn't gone away. I was taken z pack antibiotics for 5 days but still felt sick. So I was given clindamycin which worked I felt better after two days. The problem is on the second day at night when i took my second dose of the day an hour later my tongue started bleeding for no reason and looked irritated. I felt as though my whole tongue was burning and it looked unusually white. And then my throat started hurting and feels clogged with mucus. I went to the ER but the doctor couldn't figure it out and didn't think it was oral thrush even though I could scrape the white stuff off. He gave me a benydrill and told me to stop taking clindamycin and took me off antibiotics then sent me on my way. I've been using mouth wash and now my whole tongue isn't burning but the bottom feels sore and the middle feels cut. And my throat feels sore as well as the swollen node under my jaw still being there. I don't know what it could be. This is two days after the ER visit.

This exact thing is happening to me now.  What did you end up doing as this is so very painful.  This all started exactly a week ago and I cannot wait to have no more pain.

Could be an allergic reaction to the drug, I would get it checked again, so antibiotics are really strong and can cause lots of problems in certain people.
