Lab Test- does dr call to tell you results if everything is OK

Hello, do physicians usually call the patient with lab test results if everything is OK (all results good/in range)?

Some do and some don't mine was suppose to call Friday or Monday and I am getting ready to pick up the phone as I write and put a call in, for her to have the nurse call me back

yeah some do just to let you know not to worry because alot of people will keep bugging the doctor or get extremely stressed out because they did not call...brittany

Hello, Normally with my experience a physician usually contacts you with your lab results whether the results are good or bad.  This is information they need to provide to you.  My aunt use to work in a Dr's office and they would contact patients with results all the time.
