I've never heard of anyone else being diagnosed with Kikuchi Fujimoto before!
It took them 4 months to dx me 11 years ago, and discoid lupus ended up being a spin off (now chronic, whereas the kikuchi self resolves) but I was under a great deal of stress at the time.
Absolutely best wishes to you Miss Kimmy ~ Woshi.

Hi there.  I just had a biopsy on one of three enlarged lymph nodes on the right side of my neck.  They have been swollen for going on 2 months now.  The great news is that it's not cancer!  It is a rare, benign type of lymphadenitis called Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease.  No I'm not making this up!  It sounds crazy and the E.N.T and pathologists had never seen anything like it.  Check it out.  The cause is unknown.  There is no cure, the disorder resolves itself within 1 to 4 months.

Didn't want you to get overlooked here.....  I hate to be this vague, but the truth is, that it could be absolutely nothing at all to worry about, could be something have looked into.  Without more info. and seeing you and whatnot, it'd be hard to say.  I would recommend that if this is bothering you, please go to the doc and have a look-see.  I hope all's well, as it probably is. : )
