Telehealth videoconferencing safe for personal info?

My doctor started seeing patients using video conferencing. I'm interested in trying it but a bit apprehensive He said it is fully hipaa compliant, meaning my personal information is protected. I just wanted to ask if anyone else has had experience seeing doctors this way and if they had any feedback on privacy issues?

I have not heard of it, I would imagine it is safe though or he wouldn't be using it, they have to be very strict when it comes to the privacy of the patients.
