Throat issues

A few weeks ago I came down with what I thought was a cold virus, I had a temperature, headache sore throat and a tickily cough.

I had the sore throat and tickle up until a few days ago, but when looking at my throat it seems to be covered in small lumps, I have uploaded a photo of this below, can anyone help? Thank you as I'm very worried.

Hello~I am not a doctor, but it sure appears to be some type of infection. I would see you GP as soon as possible. It may be nothing, but it is always better to err on the side of safety.

Hi SassieLassie

Thank you for your response and concern. I went to see my GP and they said everything is now fine and it's just my lymph tissue in the throat coming up after the virus as I have no tonsils.

Thanks again x
You are very welcome and I am glad all is well. :-)

Thanks for letting us know.  Throat bumps can be different things.  Sometimes strep throat looks like that as does pharyngitis.  Glad you are on the mend though and your doctor gave you the all clear.
