Vaginal discharge and Smell

Every day I get the same feeling I get when I start my period. So I go to the bathroom and look and it's nothing but this brown discharge looking stuff. It smells pretty bad, like a mix of sweat and fish. I've had the smell for a pretty long time, and I don't know how to get rid of it. I'm 14 i haven't had sex. So I don't know what it could be.i've been to the doctor gotten tests, they've come back negative. My mom thinks I'm worrying too much, and it just upsets me everytime she says that because it makes me feel like she doesn't care. I am EXTREMELY self conscious about this issue. It stresses me out all the time thinking of what the reasons could be but I have no idea. Me and my mom don't have a super close relationship I mainly only talk to her about periods and stuff, but nothing about sex or anything. She thinks I'm being crazy thinking I smell bad, but I think I do. So I don't know. Help

Having a brownish vaginal discharge is quite disturbing, trust me I know. There are several reasons this could be happening to you. It is not uncommon.
But it is unusual that you have this discharge every day.
It can be caused by Bacterial Vaginosis or a range of other things.
Vulvovaginitis is the most common cause of a brown vaginal discharge. Vulvovaginitis is an infection of the vagina or vulva. It is caused by several things like Yeasts, bacteria, viruses.
Thrush or Candida albicans (yeast) symptoms can produce a brownish vaginal discharge but they are generally white like cottage cheese. However the severity and the timing around your menstrual cycle could alter the color. A yeast infection usually has no odor or a slight yeasty odor along with it. This type of infection can be easily cured. I would not trust over the counter medications to fully cure you. Most of the time they will cure your symptoms for a short time and it will be back again. If you do the right program you never have to worry about a yeast infection again.
Bacterial infection symptoms or bacterial vaginosis is another cause of vulvovaginitis. These are most commonly a yellow to brown discharge with a foul odor. The discharge can be very light to heavy and a liquid consistency. The odor is a fishy smell and can be quite strong if you have a bad bacterial infection. Bacterial Vaginosis can be cured very easy in the privacy of your own home. Go and see another Doctor, preferably a female.
Let your mum know you are worried & want this embarrassing problem resolved asap.. Speak to her politely & let her know when she is blase about you concerns it makes you feel she doesn't care. If you use tampons during your periods don't,they can cause toxic shock & infections if they are not changed regularly.Use pads instead & change them regularly. Hope this info helps!!
