What could this round red spot on my tongue be?
A week ago I developed this round red small spot on one side of my tongue. It kinda looks like the top layer is peeled off a bit. It was vanishing and then suddenly today it got bright red again after I ate some oranges. I am really scared of cancer.please tell me if you know or had something like this
A possibility could be something called "thrush". Although your symptoms are a little left of center it could be a normal reaction for you. Thrush is also called candidiasis, which is just a fungal infection in the mouth from an overproduction or growth of yeast. Good luck and I hope to see a follow up post!
