Garlic burn mark

Recently, I developed a pimple on my cheek. Wanting to get rid of it quickly or slow down its process, I scavenged the internet for any homemade remedies. I stumbled upon one that included garlic. I was a bit skeptical, but after asking my mother I decided to proceed and apply raw garlic on my pimple. Not going to lie, it worked incredibly well; except it left a burn mark all around my now inconspicuous pimple. The skin is brown and seems to be peeling off a bit; a patch of skin did peel off, exposing pinkish/red skin underneath. I don't know what to do, nor how to heal this (should I even attempt to heal it?) I would like to know how long it is going to take for the burn mark to disappear and whether or not it will leave a permanent scar. Thank you!

Hello,

It sounds like you had a mild allergic reaction to the garlic. As to healing the peeling, etc, put some pure Vitamin E on the area, this is a great healer, also, some aloe vera gel, both should take care of this issue.
