What type of treatment can I use for roof of mouth burn?

I had full mouth extractions 4 days ago (all 36).  I had dissolveable stitches on everything.  Most fell out yesterday except the bottom half of jaw.  Last night I had barely warm soup, but it still burned just the roof of my mouth.  I am doing salt water rinces 3 times a day.  I am using 2 Advil every 4-6 hours.  Is there something else I can do to heal the burn faster?  It is red on one side with tiny white spots around the red that I think are blisters.  Is any thing other than salt water safe to use since I still have stitches and had recent extractions?
