White spots on tonsil and roof of mouth?

Hello, a few days ago I noticed that the roof of my mouth, nose, eyes, and ears were itching. I passed it off as allergies until I discovered white pus-like spots on my left tonsil. It is still the same 3 days later. The itching has continued on and off, and today I noticed white spots on the back of the roof of my mouth on both sides. These can easily be scraped off, but the skin under them seems a bit sensitive. I also have some very mild tingling where the spots are. I have no fever, just mild allergy symptoms and the white spots. I’m getting concerned as to what this could be.

A simple virus can cause these same spots.  I would not assume strep.  Strep usually has other symptoms like fever.  Wait a day and you can get swabbed at a doctor's office if you don't mind paying a copay possibly for nothing.  But viruses run their course on their own typically and you most likely have a virus.  Tea, ibuprofen will help with this.  good luck

I actually woke up this morning with a sore throat and it looks to be getting red. Is it possible that it is strep and my symptoms just took a while to all show up?

It's very possible to have both allergies AND a virus.  But most virus's run their course.  So, usually, no treatment is necessary for a virus beyond comfort care (ibuprofen, tea, rest).  However, you don't even have pain.  So, I'd not worry.  You have no other symptoms.  One thing to consider if it continues or gets worse (white increases) is oral thrush. This is overgrowth of yeast in the mouth.  You can wait to see if it gets better or get checked for oral thrush now.  They'll swab it and treat if it is indeed yeast.  good luck
