I have no symptoms besides sleeping for very long, my temperature is normal, about 37 deg C not higher or lower.
Well, I suspect that you may be either very unsettled about something (which could make good quality sleep impossible for you), or are overextending yourself in some manner. I suppose it's possible you have some disease but aside from fatigue you've mentioned no notable symptoms.
Do you have a temperature? (much more or less than 98.6 deg F, 37 deg C)
If you're finding your condition oppressive, and the duration of six weeks suggests this may be the case, a physical checkup at a medical clinic/doctor's office may be due.
I understand that the Side effects will take place, but these side effects I've been experiencing have been happening for a month and a half, ever since I stopped working out, so I've been basically oversleeping and feeling general fatigue for that long. Should it be for that long? I've also been trying to have enough sleep but it'd not working should I be worried ? What could be possibly wrong with me? Also I am a male so should I be able to withstand lack of sleep?
It would help if we knew you gender. There are many possible reasons for chronic fatigue. A good place to start might be a blood test to include a CBC and thyroid, liver and renal function studies.
You're not getting enough sleep time (& perhaps quality of sleep / perhaps not).
We can tolerate a few weeks of sleep deprivation and overdoing things, but our body's reserves become used up and side effects start creeping in (such as: oversleeping, general fatigue, eventually hallucinating can be expected).
