An unusual head ache never experienced in severity always calls forth for evaluation.

So sorry this headache scared you.  I am a regular migraine sufferer.... I've been to a neurologist who explained that I have several types of migraine.

I take vitamin B6, CoQ10 and Calcium to help stop migraine headaches.

It could be the weather - barometric pressure can cause a headache - also, since you surf, could it be you hurt your head?  Or got some water up your nose?   If you got water up your nose, you should start taking Probiotics to fight the critters you might have swallowed or inhaled.

Hope you get better soon and please take care.

Hi - I 'accidentally' came across this 'General Questions' site. I'm not knew
to the computer, but very inept at a 'forum'. ANYWAY, I'm wondering why
you didn't take a medication to, sooth your headache. If you are not a
recovery addict and don't have an addiction problem, then painkillers are
meant to alleviate pain. When in pain, your blood pressure goes up along
with other negative effects. So, though I'm not doctor, and you should
consult one if you can, a couple of painkillers to relieve your discomfort.
The forum I'm on is a on addiction, so know that it's certainly a possibility,
so if non-narcotic meds work for you, then DEFINITELY stick with them.

agreed....at least make an appointment with your GP, could maybe be a migraine, sometimes they come on later in life but you should get it checked out
