Would wrapping a sore wrist at work help prevent worsening wrist pain?

I work as a cashier, and have been for just over a month. For the last week the pinky side of my wrist, about the width of three fingers from the wrist itself down my arm, has been sensitive to touch and sore. The last day or so it has gone up to my hand, between the pinky and ring finger metatarsals all the way up to the joint there. Rest is hard, since i work and use my hands constantly. Would using a wrap on my wrist for support at work be beneficial? If not, any tips on how i can make this aching get better?

Yes, it probably will.  I'd give it a try.  But if this pain continues, you should be seen by a doctor before it turns into a more chronic situation. Ibuprofen may help as it relieves swelling and pain.  good luck
