abnormal belly shape and size changing with bladder

When urine or stool accumulates, or often even after eating a heavy meal, my belly gets really bigger. Even my pants get shorter in waist. But once I come back from restroom, it shrinks magically, as if I just have took off the make-up of a fat man.

It is not a new condition, but happening since my young age. Several times doctors have tested my kidney functions, liver functions, etc. and did not find anything. My the color of my urine is generally as clear as water (unless I am going after a long time).

This neither give me any pain, nor any discomfort. I am concerned about the look. These ups and downs happen every time and several times a day.

I am a 40 year old male. Any advice, suggestion, anything to help this condition?

Hello~It sounds to me like a digestive issue. Your stomach may be lacking the friendly bacteria needed to digest food properly, thus causing the bloating and unbloating when you have a BM. I suggest taking a good, high potency pro-biotic to put the friendly flora and bacteria in your gut.

You also may have some food intolerance, I would ask to have some food allergy panels run and also check for environmental and chemical allergies, but I think the main culprit would be the food. Try to avoid all gluten-containing foods and also wheat, these are common offenders and just avoiding them, may bring help, oh, and also try to avoid sugar as much as possible.

I hope you feel better soon. God bless you.
